Hello again. It's been a while...
It's been a while since my last newsletter (one year!), and a lot has happened. Let's go over what's new, what's coming, and I'll share some new tutorials.
Let's get to it, shall we?
A Quick Health Update
As some of you know, I have heart failure, which isn't necessarily the end of the world (as I have come to find out). My heart is still functioning at 40%, which is not great, but it's not in imminent danger territory.
Let's get to some product updates.
Photo Block Has Been Released
Photo Block Has Been Released
After sitting on and off the shelf for more than a year, I decided to release free plugin Photo Block. This is a neat new block for the WordPress block editor, and it combines features from other premium image blocks into this one.
I'm anxious for people to try this out, as it makes adding and editing images in the block editor really easy. You can spin up a full free demo to try it out. It's currently sitting at a paltry 10+ installs on WordPress.org, so I'm hoping to spread more awareness about this very useful plugin.
AlertsDLX is an awesome free tool for adding callouts and notifications to your pages and posts, and with 2.1, it gets even better with new editorial blocks.
Mark a block as editorial to:
Leave notes in the admin for others.
Mark a section as needing improvement.
Add warnings for others before manipulating content.
Plugin Info Card 6.0 Released With Custom Plugin Cards
Free plugin Plugin Info Card has long been limited to only listing plugins from WordPress.org. No longer. Version 6.0 brings Custom Plugin Cards.
With this useful addition, you can list and display as many third-party plugins as you desire. You can even share your third-party plugin via an export file, or a REST endpoint. This is extremely powerful.
GB Extras 2.1.0 Brings New Compatibility and Transforms
An add-on to GenerateBlocks, these useful utilities add some extra features like wrapping blocks in a Container element, or using markdown to insert the Headline block.

Join Me on Discord
I've created a brand new Discord server for DLX Plugins. It'll be useful for support requests and plugin talk. Right now there's just me in it. Can you help change that?
